MIT F&A Instructions for C3.ai.DTI solicitations

C3.ai DTI awards are sponsored research and are subject to the institute F&A rate. The sponsor doesn’t allow F&A on awards, therefore the awards incur under-recovery. The School of Engineering and Vice President of Research office will support the under-recovery associated with research assistants on faculty awards. Please budget research assistants with full tuition, do not subsidize the tuition. Any non-student related under-recovery charged to the C3.ai projects will be expensed to the PI or DLC. All PRS/SRS awards will require under-recovery support from the DLC and/or PI.
