MIT will celebrate an extended July 4th holiday beginning Thursday July 4, 2024, with offices reopening on Monday July 8, 2024. The table below outlines the MIT Research Administration Services (RAS) deadlines for proposals with sponsor due dates during this period and immediately thereafter.
MIT Deans and the Vice President for Research may consider waivers for late proposal submissions to RAS for sponsor deadlines occurring during the period July 1, 2024 – July 7, 2024; however, RAS will submit without review.
For deadlines occurring July 8-9, 2024, principal investigators may submit an updated statement of work by 12:00pm on the day of the sponsor’s deadline for proposals previously submitted to RAS - updates to the technical sections are at the PI’s own risk; RAS will not re-review this text.
