MIT has awarded a contract for packaged gas services to Linde Gas and Equipment, effective July 1, 2023. Linde’s “all-in” pricing is a single fee-per-product based on volume, meaning DLCIs will no longer have to pay for extra fees like cylinder rental fees or delivery and hazmat fees. While Airgas will continue to be the Preferred supplier of packaged gas services at MIT until June 30, DLCs should prepare for the transition to Linde by reviewing their current Airgas cylinder inventory and requesting pickup for unused Airgas cylinders through B2P.
