MIT will celebrate an extended winter break from Monday December 25, 2023 through the New Year with offices reopening on Tuesday January 2, 2024. The table below outlines the MIT Research Administration Services (RAS) deadlines for proposals with sponsor due dates during this period and immediately thereafter.
MIT Deans and the Vice President for Research will not consider waivers for late proposal submissions to RAS for sponsor deadlines occurring during the period December 25, 2023 - January 5, 2024. For deadlines occurring on January 2 – 5, 2024, principal investigators may submit an updated statement of work by 12:00pm on the day of the sponsor’s deadline for proposals previously submitted to RAS. However, updates to the technical sections are at the PI’s own risk; RAS will not re-review this text.
